The MSCA4Ukraine scheme, funded by the European Commission under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, has published today its call for applications to support displaced researchers from Ukraine.
With a budget of €25 million, MSCA4Ukraine will provide fellowships for doctoral candidates and post-doctoral researchers.
Conditions and matchmaking
Interested host organisations and researchers can already start preparing their applications and access the scheme’s matchmaking services and call specifications on the MSCA4Ukraine website, including eligibility criteria, application requirements, guidance for applicants, and terms and conditions.
Support for host organisations and researchers
The scheme allows academic and non-academic organisations in Member States and countries associated to Horizon Europe to host researchers from six months up to two years.
Excellent scientists will continue their work in any domain of research and innovation with advantageous conditions and access to training, skills and career development opportunities. They will receive support to re-establish themselves in Ukraine, when conditions permit, to rebuild the country’s research and innovation capacity.
MSCA4Ukraine is implemented by organisations experienced in supporting researchers at risk involved in the current InspirEurope project.
MSCA4Ukraine is part of the EU’s response to the Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the need for action to support displaced researchers from Ukraine. It enables them to continue their work in Europe, helping to safeguard Ukraine’s research and innovation system and the freedom of scientific research at large.
