Intrapreneurship

Intrapreneurship is a process in which the employees of an organisation detect and take advantage of internal opportunities to improve the competitiveness and performance of the organisation itself.

The StarVal programme was created to support healthcare professionals in Cantabria who wish to innovate, be proactive and take risks with the aim of self-renewing and improving the healthcare organisation as a whole.

The basis of StarVal is the improvement and promotion of a training support roadmap to boost the development of intrapreneurial skills among healthcare professionals.  IDIVAL’s Innovation Support Unit will identify and provide tools and content to drive knowledge exchange and sustainable innovation.

Model for the identification and development of talent and ideas aimed at helping the Public Health System of Cantabria to achieve its strategic objectives.

This approach broadens the training of healthcare professionals and places people at the centre of organisational change processes, establishing a framework for those who wish to learn, teach and foster the knowledge, skills and attitudes that shape the intrapreneurial mindset. These skills include creativity, the ability to create cooperative networks, attitudes that facilitate inclusion, or resilience at the organisational level.

The StarVal programme is an opportunity to improve the capacity and outcomes of our healthcare system. We seek to attract and generate means and resources to nurture the curiosity of professionals, value their initiatives and facilitate a culture in which barriers to the emergence of new ideas are minimal.
